Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and support home health patients, evaluating functional status and daily living activities across diverse home settings. This role is offered as full-time and PRN, with compensation tied to per-visit, hourly, and productivity metrics.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based therapy plans, coordinate with physicians, and ensure quality patient care while navigating CMS documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care.
• Evaluates the patient's functional status and consults with the physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating the level of function using diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
