Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools seeks a Principal to lead instructional and people operations across a network of urban schools in Los Angeles. The role focuses on college readiness, data-informed instruction, and building strong cultures for scholars, staff, and families.

You will supervise building-level leaders, set school goals, and ensure safe, high-performing environments with community partnerships and equity at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience as a teacher, counselor, or similar school-based role.
• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Principal or similar school leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive instructional excellence by setting aspirational school goals and coaching staff.
• Prepare scholars to apply to and succeed in college with a college-ready curriculum.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Principals and teachers through observations and feedback.
• Foster a safe, collaborative culture and engage families in the school community.
• Partner with the Home Office to align resources with school needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university

Graduate degree from an accredited college or university

Valid California teaching credential
