Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools seeks instructional leaders to join our equity-driven network in Los Angeles. Assistant Principals, Instructional Deans and Coaches, Department Chairs, and Coordinators are encouraged to apply to drive student achievement and school culture.

You will lead data-driven instruction, mentor teachers, and collaborate with families and the Alliance Home Office to ensure college readiness and strong classroom practice across networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience as a teacher, counselor, or similar school-based role.
• 1+ years of experience leading adults.
• Preferred: Graduate degree from an accredited college or university
• Preferred: Valid California teaching credential

Responsibilities

• Lead teachers, teacher leaders, and department chairs in improving scholar outcomes through data-driven instruction cycles and high-quality PD.
• Coach, manage, evaluate, support, and inspire a set of teachers and staff to grow and make progress with scholars.
• Set high standards for achievement so scholars are college-ready.
• Ensure curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies align with Common Core State Standards.
• Build a positive staff culture and supportive school climate.
• Oversee systems and supports for student enrichment, enrollment, testing coordination, etc.
• Foster relationships with families, students, and the Alliance Home Office.
