Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Topeka, KS is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (24 hours/week) to examine and treat patients with mobility challenges. You will use physical modalities to improve function and daily living skills, under physician orders and a defined plan of care.

Responsibilities include teaching families, coordinating with the health care team, and participating in programs such as Balance and Fall Prevention and Total Joint Replacement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities.
• Help patients improve mobility and independent self-care.
• Administer skilled care under physician orders and plan of care.
• Coordinate with family and health care team; follow Branch Director supervision.
