Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to join the Sales team in the Chicago metro area. You will leverage your expertise in data center and routing and switching to support customers and partners, delivering technically compelling solutions.

You will own the technical relationship, build deep knowledge of Arista technologies, and help with Proofs of Concept, demos, and technical materials. Travel is approximately 10% to engage with customers on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in networking design/implementation for data center, campus, wireless and security.
• Strong ability to present complex technical material to diverse audiences.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Arista products and competitive landscape is a plus.
• Familiarity with network automation concepts and tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to gather requirements and identify opportunities.
• Own the pre- and post-sales technical relationship with the territory and customers.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Arista technologies to enable strategic customers.
• Deliver technical training, demos, and POCs with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Development, and TAC teams.
• Prepare technical marketing materials for the global Arista organization.
• Travel ~10% to support onsite customer engagements.
