Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of transfer press experience preferred.
• Familiar with die setting, press parameters and startup/shutdown procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage a transfer press on 2nd shift.
• Perform die setting, changeovers and die changes per schedule.
• Conduct quality inspections and adhere to inspection procedures.
• Transport dies and prepare setups for production runs.
• Adjust rail setups and ensure correct wiring and operation.
• Install and align dies on the bolster and supervise basic maintenance.
• Train part packers and ensure safe, efficient production.
• Document issues and communicate with press improvement teams.
