Job summary

St Louis County MN is seeking a permanent Information Specialist II in the Public Health & Human Services Department, Finance & Operations Division. Primary duties include processing payments to clients, billing claims through MMIS and MNITS, posting payments in MMIS/MAXIS, and delivering internal and external customer service.

The incumbent may be based out of Duluth, Ely, Hibbing, or Virginia based on applicant preference.

Qualifications

• Experience handling client payments and billing processes.
• Familiarity with MMIS and MAXIS systems is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders.

There presently exists a vacancy for a permanent, full-time Information Specialist II in the Public Health & Human Services Departments, Finance & Operations Division.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Billing claims through MMIS & MNITS
• Posting payments received in MMIS and MAXIS
• Customer service - internal and external
• ACH setup for clients in MAXIS
• Vendor maintenance in MAXIS for group residential housing

Please note: The incumbent of this position could be based out of Duluth, Ely, Hibbing, or Virginia based on applicant preference.
