Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking a Credit Evaluator Supervisor to lead the Credit Evaluation team, ensuring accurate interpretation, evaluation, and posting of transfer credits to student records. The role requires strong systems experience and collaboration with campus partners.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Processing and Credit Evaluation, you’ll navigate PeopleSoft, Slate CRM, and imaging software, while occasionally providing in-person support to students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Advanced keyboarding skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work well among diverse coworkers.
• The ability to manage and organize complex information.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and technology.
• Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace experience.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public in an effective manner with complex/sensitive data.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Credit Evaluation team including scheduling and training.
• Interpret, evaluate, and post transfer credits per department rules and regulations.
• Respond to staff, faculty, and student inquiries regarding transfer credit.
• Manage technological support and troubleshoot issues within the Credit Evaluation area.
