The University of Virginia’s Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a Transfer Credit Evaluator to review domestic and international transcripts, determine UVA credit equivalencies, and support study abroad and pre-matriculation transfer processes. The role collaborates with the Transfer Credit Manager, Registrar’s office, and education abroad staff.

The Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a restricted Transfer Credit Evaluator position. Transfer Credit Evaluators play a key role in executing the mission of this office by providing expertise in the evaluation of external academic credit and articulation to equivalent UVA credit, contribution to the College’s broader external credit operations, and servicing the shared inboxes related to transfer credit. This position works closely with the Transfer Credit Manager, Undergraduate A&S Assistant Registrar, and other administrative staff to evaluate and process domestic and international transfer credit for undergraduate A&S students and will be an integral part of helping to shape transfer credit processes for the future.
This position reports directly to the Transfer Credit Manager with strong ties to the College Registrar’s office.

This position is a restricted position and will be contracted for 18 months. The position may be renewed, dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance. The salary range for this position is $57,000-60,000. This position will not consider candidates who require immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
