Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice required
• 3 years of clinical experience required
• Preferred supervisory or call center transfer experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical oversight of daily patient flow and bed placement decisions
• Directs and coordinates bed control, admissions, and transfers
• Collaborates with nursing units to evaluate Staffing needs and capacity surge plans
• Facilitates relationships between leadership, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams for patient room assignments
• Completes accurate data collection, monitoring and evaluation
• Performs rounds and supervises day-to-day operations of nursing units
• Participates in telemedicine, business development, and hospital outreach activities
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local laws and accreditation standards

Education

Associate’s degree in nursing, science or related field
