Freeman Health System in Maryland is seeking a Transfer Center Nurse to coordinate safe, efficient patient transfers and bed placement. The role engages with external hospitals to ensure timely, medically appropriate transitions.

PRN shifts include day and night options; requires acute care RN/LPN experience, BLS; ACLS preferred; BSN preferred. Join a team focused on rapid coordination and high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Active RN or LPN license.
• Certification: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience: 2–5 years of acute care experience.
• BSN preferred; critical care or ER/ICU background is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate safe patient transfers by triaging data and coordinating bed placement.
• Serve as primary contact for external hospitals referring patients.
• Ensure timely and medically appropriate transitions across Freeman Health System.
