Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a RN Transfer Center Bed Flow Coordinator for full-time night shift (36 hours/week). The role coordinates patient transfers, assesses needs, and supports capacity management across units.

The candidate will have an RN license, 2 years of acute care experience, and may have ICU/ED/Transfer Center exposure. Salary includes base pay with potential incentives and benefits.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse
• 2 Years Recent Acute Care Experience
• Experience working in ICU, ED or Transfer Center (preferred)
• Must pose the following skills: Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes.

The Bed flow Coordinator assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement and/or transfer. Coordinates and communicates capacity management plan to nursing units, leadership team, and physicians. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards of care as required by patient populations.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.47 - $69.73 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
