North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a Transfer Admissions Counselor to lead transfer recruitment and enrollment partnerships with NC Community Colleges. Minimum Experience/Education: bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Two or more years experience in Admissions or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is preferred. Experience in community college partnerships. Experience and proficiency/knowledge of Slate and Banner systems.
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License
This position is responsible for managing the transfer recruitment and enrollment partnerships in collaboration with NC Community Colleges.
Manage the programs, including all recruiting and yield activities.
Articulates admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and counselors.
Participates in University undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, individual visits to post‑secondary institutions, alumni meetings, and campus tour visitations.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday; 8 am-5 pm; to include weekends
Employee may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
