Primary Purpose of Position: Manage a territory, including all recruiting and yield activities within designated geographic areas. Manage the recruitment calendar in consultation with the Associate Director of Recruitment. Articulate admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and counselors. Participate in university undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, individual visits to post‑secondary institutions, alumni meetings, and campus tour visitations. Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and training for admission counselors alongside the Associate Director of Recruitment. Provide leadership and direction to the freshmen admissions team in the absence of the Associate Director of Recruitment.
The primary function of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to identify, attract, and enroll first‑year and transfer students with outstanding academic ability and potential.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Two or more years of experience in Admissions or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. • Advanced proficiency or knowledge of data analysis and CRMs. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license.
On‑site (employees are primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on‑site). The position may also be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C.A.&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
