Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Transdermal Operator I to handle the packaging and cartoning process, document batch records, and support equipment setup and cleaning on a night shift.

You will operate the cartoning machine, perform in-process checks, and maintain clean, safe work areas while meeting GMP/SOP requirements; High School or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; 6pm-6:30am shifts with weekend rotation; OSHA

Description:

The Transdermal Operator I will handle the packaging and cartoning manufacturing process and batch record documentation. The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, which includes but is not limited to equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning.

Night Shift – 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with alternating weekend shifts required.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Setup and Operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks, visual inspections, routinely inspect transdermal products for quality i.e. proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing of the product.
• Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
• Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work enviornment.

Education:

• High School or GED - Required

Experience:

• 1 year or more in Manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience

Additional Requirements:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months.
