Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Transdermal Operator I for a 12-hour night shift. You will handle packaging, cartoning, and batch record documentation, with cross-functional support including equipment setup and cleaning.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year in manufacturing or related fields. You must pass an OSHA-compliant respirator fit test and be able to lift up to 40 lbs while adhering to GMP/SOP standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1 year or more in Manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Setup and Operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks, visual inspections, routinely inspect transdermal products for quality i.e. proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing of the product.
• Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
• Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work enviornment.

Job Description

Description:

The Transdermal Operator I will handle the packaging and cartoning manufacturing process and batch record documentation. The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, which includes but is not limited to equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning.

Night Shift – 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with alternating weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School or GED - Required

Experience:

• 1 year or more in Manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience

• Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required.

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test is required.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
