Amneal Pharmaceuticals in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Transdermal Operator I responsible for packaging and cartoning manufacturing processes and batch record documentation. The role also supports other areas, including equipment setup and cleaning.

The position is day shift, 12-hour rotations (6:00am-6:30pm) with every other weekend; requires High School or GED and at least 1 year manufacturing experience; good English, basic math, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Setup and Operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks, visual inspections, routinely inspect transdermal products for quality i.e. proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing of the product.
• Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
• Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work enviornment.

The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, which includes but is not limited to equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning. Day Shift - 12-hour per day, rotating schedule (6:00am-6:30pm) 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2 of pay cycle (Requires every other weekend)

Education

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test is required.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
