Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year or more in Manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience.
• Skills: ability to understand and communicate in English; basic math and mechanical aptitude; ability to use computer systems for data entry; strong attention to detail and documentation; ability to work in a team; ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 40 lbs; flexibility for extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Set up and operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials and reconcile items per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks and visual inspections of transdermal products for quality.
• Document in-process checks and ensure batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The Transdermal Operator I will handle the packaging and cartoning manufacturing process and batch record documentation. The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, which includes but is not limited to equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning.

Night Shift – 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with alternating weekend shifts required.

Essential Functions

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Setup and Operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks, visual inspections, routinely inspect transdermal products for quality i.e. proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing of the product.
• Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
• Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work enviornment.

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test is required.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
