Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) related field preferred; Associate degree required.
• 3+ years in transdermal drug delivery or GMP manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in leading and training staff.
• Transdermal, converting, packaging experience within GMP manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing floor activities ensuring safety, quality and GMP compliance.
• Plan and schedule manufacturing and packaging to meet deadlines and prevent back-orders.
• Collaborate with quality to ensure ongoing compliance and participate in investigations.
• Act as Working Supervisor to manufacture R&D batches and train operators.
• Lead equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities; operate in GMP environment.
• Perform mixing, coating, converting, pouching and cartoning operations.
• Maintain daily communication with staff about department and company events.

Job Description

The Supervisor will oversee operations and staff throughout the manufacturing floor, assist with equipment start-up, and participate in ANDA batch production and commercial batch manufacturing. This role follows a 12‑hour rotating schedule, working from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM (requires every other weekend).

Essential Functions

• Oversee all activities on the manufacturing floor. Ensure safety, quality, and effective productivity, adhering to 100% GMP compliance. Plan and schedule all manufacturing and packaging activities to meet deadlines and prevent back‑order situations.
• Work closely with the quality group to ensure constant compliance and participate in any investigations that may arise. Support the R&D process and execution of new products, providing key information during development.
• Act as a "Working Supervisor" to manufacture R&D large/small‑scale batches and train operators on processing and equipment capabilities for all production.
• Actively perform and demonstrate manufacturing processes while supervising daily operations.
• Participate in equipment set‑up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities. Set‑up, run, and clean equipment in a GMP‑compliant environment.
• Conduct mixing, coating, converting, pouching, and cartoning operations.
• Maintain effective daily communication with staff to ensure everyone is up to speed on all pertinent departmental and company events.

Additional Responsibilities

• R&D and commercial scale‑up activities.
• Perform continuous improvements.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) related field – Preferred

Experience

• 3 years or more in transdermal drug delivery or manufacturing GMP environment.
• 3 years or more in leading and training staff.

Specialized Knowledge

• Transdermal, converting, packaging experience within a GMP manufacturing environment.

The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000. In addition, Amneal offers a short‑term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance‑based award, within the first 12 months. The ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes it will pay for this position at the time of posting; individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on relevant factors, including qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other skills.
