Job summary

Expeditors is seeking personnel for 3 shifts, including weekend and Panama night schedules, to support global logistics operations. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, tracking shipments, and maintaining service standards across multiple work patterns.

Job Description

3 Shifts needed for this role:

(Weekend Day Hybrid Role) as follows. This is a 4-day work week 40 hours per week

Monday: 7am to 3pm

Tuesday: Off

Thursday: Off

Friday: 7 am to 3pm

Saturday: 7am to 7pm

Sunday: 7am to 7pm

(Panama Night Employee) as follows:

This is a 5-day followed by 2-day work schedule with every other FRI,SAT, SUN off. Each shift is 12 hours from 7pm to 7am

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability and desire to work 3rd shift (4 10's)
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
