Job summary

Adidas Operations in Indianapolis is seeking a Training Lead to implement and sustain training initiatives across the DC's operations. You will create training plans, conduct NEO with HR, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires leadership experience in training teams, proficiency in MS Office and warehouse systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience supervising training teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and support training teams while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create training plans and reporting on all operations process paths for team members as necessary within the Learning Management System.
• Create and Conduct New Hire Orientation (NEO) with support of HR and business partners.
• Work with managers to implement and enforce all OSHA, A-01, SEA or other compliance standards.
• Oversee, train and certify all personnel on the safe operation of equipment, including PIT.
• Partner with on-the-floor training leads to maintain consistency and spirit of process training.
• Oversee Point Guards program (on-the-floor hands on operations trainers).
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and remediation training as needed.
• Facilitate courses and/or learning sessions for all associates and leadership as needed.
• Administrative tasks: printing and organizing learning materials, tracking training sign-offs.
• Conduct observation sessions and report results for training team.
• Maintain visibility on the operations floor to identify gaps in skills and training approaches.
• Instruct, examine and issue certifications when needed.
• Support SOPs and One Point Lessons under the direction of Sr Training Manager and Sr MGR of Operational Excellence.
• Develop and share best practices with other DC Supervisors and drive continuous improvement.
