Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced professional to direct and optimize Electric Ops Training and OJT programs, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient delivery while safeguarding employees, customers, the public and shareholders.

The role involves supervising Crew Leaders, Demos and Apprentices/Helpers, implementing policies, and driving continuous improvement. Extended hours may be required during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of internal utility experience or equivalent external industry experience.
• Prior supervisory experience will be evaluated following the interview.
• Candidates with 2-3 years of recent internal supervisory experience will not require additional assessment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct staff in training and OJT activities to ensure high customer service and reliability.
• Foster a high-performance, learning culture and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain open communication, address employee concerns, and collaborate with other departments.
• Manage union/management relationships and engage local union stewards regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within budgets, plan resources, and evaluate training effectiveness to meet business objectives.
• Oversee large-scale training projects.
