Job summary

Exelon is seeking Testing and Commissioning engineers to join our field engineering team focused on transmission and distribution protection and control systems in ComEd substations.

You will lead field testing, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting of relays, SCADA, and automation equipment, with plans, test procedures and data analysis. Some travel and extended hours are required to support outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of protection systems.
• Willingness to travel to substations and work a 24/7 schedule during outages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in substation protection and control systems.
• Direct crews during maintenance or commissioning of equipment.
• Support outage planning, engineering drawings, and data management.
• Work with multiple departments to ensure safe, reliable operation.
