Job summary

Exelon is seeking an Overhead Line Worker Field Experience role in Chicago, IL to plan, direct, and optimize training and OJT programs that ensure safety, reliability, and performance goals. You will lead craft teams, coach staff, and maintain strong union relations while driving continuous improvement in field operations.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in utility operations and supervisory experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of internal utility experience or equivalent external industry experience.
• Prior supervisory experience will be evaluated after the interview.
• Candidates with 2-3 years of recent internal supervisory experience will not require additional assessment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive knowledge of the collective bargaining agreement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees delivering training and OJT activities to meet safety and performance goals.
• Foster a high-performance, learning culture; coach, train, and evaluate employee performance.
• Facilitate open communication and address employee concerns; build cross-department relationships.
• Manage union/management relationships and engage local union stewards to support the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within departmental budgets; plan resources and assess training and OJT effectiveness.
• Oversee large-scale training projects to support business plans.
