Job summary

DSV in Kentucky is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead the site training program, ensuring employees are trained, qualified, and prepared to perform safely and effectively.

This role oversees new-hire orientation, MHE training, and ongoing development across the site, partnering with the General Manager, Operations leadership, Safety, P&O, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and maintain training compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or similar operational environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience conducting, coordinating, or supporting employee training, onboarding, or development.
• Previous supervision/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse processes, SOPs, safety requirements, and operational training.
• Experience operating and/or training on material handling equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and support multiple shifts.
• Must be able to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
• Must be able to work overtime as dictated by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the site's new-hire orientation and operational training programs.
• Develop and maintain a structured site training plan that supports business needs and safety standards.
• Coordinate training schedules for new hires, transfers, promotions, cross-training, and refresher training.
• Partner with Operations leadership to ensure employees receive job-specific training before performing duties.
• Oversee on-the-job training programs and ensure training is delivered consistently across shifts and departments.
• Provide coaching and support to trainers and subject matter experts.
• Maintain accurate training records, certification records, and related documentation.
• Monitor training metrics and KPI completion rates and report to site leadership.
