Fortegra is seeking a Claims Advisor to review, evaluate, and resolve auto warranty claims. You will gather information, interpret contract terms, and make informed decisions with established guidelines while learning about vehicle service contracts and repair processes.

Prior claims or automotive experience is helpful but not required; we provide training and value candidates who take ownership, learn quickly, and work well with others.

• Review and evaluate vehicle service contract claims using contract terms, supporting documentation, and company guidelines.
• Gather facts, ask focused questions, and communicate with customers and repair facilities to understand reported concerns and repair findings.
• Review estimates, labor, parts pricing, and other supporting information; learn to assess appropriate repair scope and costs.
• Identify missing or conflicting information; request clarification or inspections and eliminate potential fraud or other concerns appropriately.
• Make timely, well-supported decisions within assigned authority and clearly explain approvals, denials, and next steps.
• Deliver excellent service to contract holders, dealerships, repair facilities, and business partners, including during difficult conversations.
• Manage calls, emails, follow-ups, and claim documentation accurately across multiple systems.
• Learn automotive terminology, vehicle service contract coverage, processes, and systems through training and ongoing development.
• Meet quality, productivity, and service standards and identify opportunities to improve the claims experience.

We are looking for motivated individuals with strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. As a Claims Advisor, you will review, evaluate, and resolve claims by gathering information, interpreting contract terms, and making informed decisions using established guidelines. This role supports our Auto Warranty Claims Department, where you will learn about vehicle service contracts, repair processes, and claim handling. Prior claims or automotive experience is helpful but not required. We provide training and value candidates who are eager to learn, take ownership, and work well with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Claims handling, investigation, adjudication, automotive, or related customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• We are willing to train candidates with strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
