Job summary

Swoon is hiring Training & Change Management Specialists to support a financial services organization as it introduces new processes across a network of 21 branches. You’ll turn new workflows into clear procedures, practical training, and consistent day-to-day habits.

You’ll work directly with branch employees, managers, and the training team to help current teammates adopt updated processes and ensure new hires receive accurate, useful information from the start.

Responsibilities

• Translate new and updated branch workflows into clear procedures, training materials, job aids, and reference guides.
• Develop and deliver engaging training for branch employees through in-person and virtual sessions.
• Partner with the training team to incorporate updated processes into new-hire onboarding and existing employee development.
• Support change rollouts through communication plans, stakeholder coordination, and readiness assessments.
• Work with branch managers to answer questions, address adoption challenges, and reinforce consistent practices.
• Assess employee understanding before and after training to identify areas requiring additional support.
• Create refresher training, coaching resources, and train-the-trainer materials that help changes stick.
• Coordinate hands‑on practice and job shadowing when new tools or workflows are introduced.
• Track training completion, gather employee feedback, and improve materials based on lessons learned.

Overview

In this role, you’ll turn new workflows into clear procedures, practical training, and consistent day-to-day habits. You’ll work directly with branch employees, managers, and the training team to help current teammates adopt updated processes and ensure new hires receive accurate, useful information from the start. This opportunity offers hands‑on involvement in a newly established department, with work spanning process documentation, training development, facilitation, and ongoing adoption support. Depending on business needs, one of the three positions may have an opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Location: Newport News, VA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, three days onsite and two days remote per week

Travel: Local travel to branch locations throughout Hampton Roads, including Virginia Beach

Duration: Initial 60–90-day contract
