Job summary

Strategic Data Systems, an IT and Customer Service solutions provider, is seeking a Training Delivery Specialist to support the U.S. Navy at Little Creek, VA. This on-site role involves delivering New Hire and refresher training, developing learning content, and coaching Tier 1 personnel.

You will design curricula, create Quick Start Guides, and deliver both in-person and virtual sessions, with opportunities for growth and eligibility for security clearances. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and organizing training materials.
• Experience collaborating with management on onboarding and training.
• Experience tracking training activity records and measuring effectiveness.
• Experience developing and delivering training topics in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Capable of memorizing material and delivering confidently.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Able to train in-person and virtually.

Responsibilities

• Deliver New Hire training and refresher sessions; during periods without active classes, review curriculum content as directed.
• Provide training to all Tier 1 personnel across a variety of learning topics.
• Support curriculum design and delivery, including the development of Quick Start Guides (QSGs).
• Develop training cycles and learning topics for Tier 1 personnel as needed.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to trainees.
• Communicate all absences, tardiness, or early departures—scheduled or unscheduled—to the Training Lead and/or Manager via email, phone, or designated communication channels.
• Review training content and provide direct feedback to the Training Lead and/or Manager.
• When not actively training, provide support to the primary trainer as needed.
• Develop E-learning courses via Verint.
• Assist with the completion and/or troubleshooting of Required Annual Trainings for all Tier 1 personnel.
• Ability to train virtually and in-person

We are looking for a Training Delivery Specialist who is eligible for a Secret clearance to join our growing team in Little Creek, VA.

Here’s your opportunity to support an Enterprise-level U.S. Navy Call Center responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing new hire, employee life-cycle, and refresher training.

Trainers are responsible for the duties listed below, along with any additional tasks assigned by the SDS Training Manager:

Requirements:

• Experience with administering and organizing materials for training and educational programs.
• Experience in collaborating with management on on‑the‑job training and employee orientation.
• Experience with maintaining records of training activities, tracking employee progress, and monitoring program effectiveness.
• Experience with developing and delivering training topics within a contact center or customer service environment.
• Must exhibit strong presentation skills with experience as a lecturer and/or facilitator
• Experience with memorizing material and delivering training confidently.
• Current employees must have strong adherence, performance, and attendance records.
• Coachable, with a willingness to learn.
• Team‑oriented and solutions‑focused.
• Ability to work generally a 0800–1700 shift.
  • Shift may change based on training needs.
  • Must be able to support a 24/7 operation and flex shift as needed.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Self‑starter with strong initiative.
