Job summary

Outlook Group is seeking a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that prepare employees to work safely, meet quality standards, and perform at their best. You will own new-hire orientation, on-the-job and compliance training, and maintain training records for audits.

Partner with Operations, HR, Safety, and Quality to identify skill gaps, measure program effectiveness, and drive safe, efficient production in a 100% onsite manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience implementing safety trainings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Build, coordinate and deliver new employee orientation for new hires joining the team.
• Partner with Operation Leaders and machine operators to develop training processes to uphold compliance with procedures and work instructions.
• Facilitate the delivery of annual compliance and refresher training programs.
• Maintain training records and documentation required for audits and inspections.
• Manage training materials to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Serve as owner of the learning management system (LMS), responsible for building, assigning, and administering trainings as needed, and for maintaining accurate course content, user records, and completion tracking.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Organizational Development, or other related field, preferred.
• Operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing safety and environmental health trainings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Other Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of technical concepts and willingness to contribute to the creation and delivery of training content.
• 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment
