Reyes Automotive Group is seeking a Training Coordinator for the Production – Injection Molding department. The role focuses on coordinating, implementing, and managing all training programs, with ongoing improvement and documentation to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of trainer experience in manufacturing (or 2+ years manufacturing leadership with training responsibilities), strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as trainer in manufacturing OR 2+ years manufacturing leadership with training responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain training programs and calendars.
• Proficient in MS Office and training software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and manage team member training programs.
• Maintain Master Training Files for onboarding and offboarding.
• Create and manage monthly Training Calendar with targets and weekly reporting.
• Ensure all training records and documentation are complete and auditable.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify training needs and improvements.
• Facilitate training presentations and conduct sessions on the production floor as needed.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and management of all team member training programs currently established. The position will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of the current training programs established, as well as have the ability to stay abreast with new training ideas and methods to further improve the organization’s training program.

Main Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

• Administering RedZone ID/Passwords during new hire orientation
• Ensure all additional training needs, by position, are identified, while coordinating the completion of those trainings and maintaining proper documentation of completion
• Maintain Master Training Files as new hires onboard and terminated team members exit; always keeping the most up-to-date information available at all times
• Establish an electronic and/or paper system to ensure all training documents are maintained as sufficient evidence that training has been administered
• Assist internal and external customers by retrieving any documented training evidence as needed
• Participate in departmental meetings regarding all training and development subjects
• Partner with key stakeholders in all efforts regarding training and development subjects
• Manage all other mandatory training that is designed internally
• Work with Shift Supervisors to create a monthly Training Calendar and to ensure that targets are met. Report out weekly.
• Adhere to and uphold all Safety policies and procedures established by the organization
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience as trainer in the manufacturing industry and/or minimum 2 years manufacturing leadership experience with training responsibilities.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and in the use of e-mail, web browser applications.

Mathematical Abilities

• Intermediate-advanced math skills.

• Strong analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.
• Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructions
• Ability to effectively prepare business and technical documentation such as procedures, reports, presentations, etc.

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

• Depending on business need, approximately 50% of the time will be spent doing desk related work on a computer and working with basic office equipment (PC, fax and printer, phones) while the remaining 50% of approximate time will be spent on the production floor completing work related to the position
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. Must wear all personal protective equipment where required.
