Job summary

  • Develop role-specific learning materials for leasing, management, maintenance, and corporate teams.
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and completion reports.
  • Support company-wide training initiatives, software implementations, and policy rollouts.
  • Ensure training materials remain current and consistent across departments.
  • Collect employee feedback and evaluate training effectiveness.

About the Role

We are seeking an organized, engaging, and collaborative Training Specialist to help develop and deliver learning programs across our organization.

Working alongside our COO, Human Resources, Operations, you'll help build a training experience that equips employees with the knowledge and confidence to succeed. You'll coordinate onboarding, facilitate training sessions, develop learning resources, and continuously improve how we train across our communities and corporate teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others learn, is comfortable presenting to groups, and wants to build a career in learning and development. As our training function continues to grow, this position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and shape the future of employee development at Sundance.

What You'll Do
Training & Facilitation
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
  • Deliver engaging virtual and in-person training sessions
  • Provide post-training support and coaching to reinforce learning
  • Travel periodically to communities and company meetings to deliver training and support implementation
Content Development
  • Create training guides, presentations, videos, job aids, quick reference materials, and standard operating procedures
  • Translate complex processes into clear, practical learning resources
  • Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to gather and organize training content
  • Develop role-specific learning materials for leasing, property management, maintenance, and corporate teams
Program Coordination
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, completion reports, and documentation
  • Support company-wide training initiatives, software implementations, and policy rollouts
  • Ensure training materials remain current, accurate, and consistent across departments
  • Collect employee feedback and evaluate training effectivenessRecommend improvements to training materials and delivery methods
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the employee learning experience
  • Assist with additional learning and development initiatives as the training program continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
