Job summary

Xcel Energy is offering a Training Coordinator Intern position to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for Transmission System Operators and Balancing Authority Operators. You will gain hands-on experience coordinating technical training, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting simulator-based learning in a real-time operations environment.

Qualifications

• Current student (freshman or higher) enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Training & Development, Human Resource Development, or similar.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person per our hybrid work policy.
• Must be able to commute to the designated work location in-person.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training records, documentation, and compliance tracking.
• Support development of training simulator scenarios that reflect situations and events on the Energy Management System.
• Video capture and edit training video content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop training content and courses through the complete lifecycle of the ADDIE process - Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Analysis, Evaluation.
