Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Training Coordinator Intern to help develop, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for Transmission System Operators and Balancing Authority Operators. You will gain hands-on experience coordinating technical training, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting simulator-based learning in a real-time operations environment.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Business, Training & Development, Human Resource Development, or similar.
• Able to work full-time in summer or part-time during the school year per hybrid policy.
• Willingness to learn technical concepts related to transmission system operations.

Responsibilities

• Support development of training materials and simulator scenarios.
• Coordinate training logistics and maintain compliance documentation.
• Create multimedia training content and collaborate with SMEs throughout ADDIE stages.
• Assist with program reviews following systematic training approaches.
