Job summary

CETUSA is offering an Internship/Trainee program in hospitality management at a premier Miami Beach hotel. Training covers front office operations, reservations, and guest registration with emphasis on brand standards and guest service excellence.

Candidates must be hospitality or hotel management students or recent graduates. Advanced English is required, with opportunities to advance to supervisory duties during a 6-month program. Housing is provided as part of the arrangement.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be hospitality or hotel management undergraduate/graduate students OR recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of graduation date.
• For the Trainee program, a degree or professional certificate from a foreign institution and at least 1 year of related hospitality experience outside the U.S. OR 5+ years in the field.
• Advanced English required and ability to communicate with clients and hotel associates.

Responsibilities

• Train in front office operations, reservation system, and guest registration.
• Learn hotel and brand guest service standards; upsell rooms and hotel services.
• Develop management skills and supervisory duties.

Position Description:

• Learn how to upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services
• Advance management skills and supervisory duties
• To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be hospitality or hotel management undergraduate/graduate students OR a be recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date
• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must have either a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least 1 year of prior related work experience in the hospitality or hotel management field acquired outside the United States OR 5+ years of experience in this field.
• Applicants must speak ADVANCED ENGLISH, have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with clients and hotel associates
