Addus HomeCare in Chicago, IL is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead training and development for our Home Care Aides. The role covers facilitation of new-employee and ongoing training, preparation of administrative reports, and ensuring adherence to company regulations.

The position is in-office, full-time, with a focus on compliance, confidentiality, and efficient operations within a busy home care environment. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, computer and administrative skills.
• Experience conducting meetings in group settings or individually.
• Plans and organizes work effectively and ensures its completion.
• Meets productivity requirements.
• Energetic, engaging personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist processing new employees through the hiring process.
• Facilitate Pre-Service training sessions and tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
• Assist with the daily operations regarding active employees and new hires documentation.
• Filing/scanning active employee and new hire documentation.
• Data entry.
• Special projects.
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
• Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
• Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA regulations and requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
