Description

Saz's Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead training programs across our diverse hospitality divisions. This full-time, salaried position is based at our Walkers Point office in Milwaukee, WI, and offers competitive compensation based on experience plus bonus opportunities. This position follows a Tuesday-Saturday schedule to match our event calendar.

What You'll Do

At Saz's, we believe every event is an opportunity to create over-the-top amazing experiences. As our Training Manager, you'll be developing the people and programs that bring our hospitality vision to life. This isn't your typical desk job. You'll spend more than half of your time in the field – visiting our locations, coaching teams at events, and creating meaningful learning moments in every interaction.

  • Create comprehensive training programs using adult learning principles that embody Saz's hospitality values
  • Develop engaging training materials, manuals, guides, and e-learning content
  • Build train-the-trainer programs and identify internal champions who live our culture
  • Establish continuing education pathways for career advancement
  • Maintain regular on-site presence across all divisions and catering events
  • Provide real-time coaching and mentoring during live operations
  • Conduct training needs assessments through direct observation
  • Build strong relationships with train-the-trainer team members through hands-on collaboration
  • Partner with HR and division experts on instructional design initiatives
  • Serve as primary facilitator for training sessions and new hire orientation
  • Track training progress and evaluate program effectiveness

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Education/Training, HR, or related fields preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of professional training experience, preferably in hospitality/catering
  • Knowledge of catering operations, food safety, and service standards
  • Passion for guest experience and ability to translate that into operational success
  • Proven track record in instructional design and adult learning program development
  • Strong project management skills with ability to execute independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for extensive local travel
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require
