Job summary

Ardent Eagle Solutions in Washington, DC, seeks a Training Manager to lead contractor training programs, supervise Training Specialists, and ensure deliverables meet customer requirements and contract obligations.

You will coordinate with researchers, engineers, logisticians, and government representatives to develop content, apply training policies, monitor performance, and report on status. A BS/BA in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or related field is required.

Qualifications

  • Approximately six years of experience in training development, instructional delivery, or training program management.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising training personnel.
  • Experience developing training documentation and instructional materials.
  • Familiarity with customer training policies and compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional input into training programs.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple training initiatives in a deadline-driven environment.
  • US citizenship may be a prerequisite for certain roles.

  • Monitor training performance and ensure deliverables meet schedule and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with customer representatives to ensure training meets operational needs.
  • Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Support scheduling, resource allocation, and planning for training initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, status updates, and presentations related to training program performance.
  • Ensure training materials and delivery methods align with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Overview

The Training Manager provides leadership and oversight for contractor-delivered training programs. This role ensures training tasks are executed in alignment with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable policies. The Training Manager supervises training personnel, coordinates with technical stakeholders, and maintains direct communication with the customer to ensure effective and compliant training delivery.

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Management, or related field required;
    OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Related industry certifications preferred.
