Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Training Manager Journeyman to be based at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on evaluating training programs, simulations, and instructional materials to improve performance and readiness.

The candidate will support delivery of operational and maintenance training, assist with handbook and computer-based course development, and participate in policy implementation across cross-functional teams. A U.S.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Training Management or Instruction role.
• Ability to work with other organizations/teams and develop strong customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide training evaluations with assessments and recommendations for improvements to system training, equipment, simulator designs, and technical documentation.
• Support training required to execute test activities and assist with delivery of operational and maintenance training.
• Help develop program-specific handbooks and computer-based training courses.
• Assist in training, implementation and execution of policies, practices, and procedures through IPTs and other venues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall provide training evaluations that include assessments of and recommendations for improvements to system training, training equipment, simulator requirements, technical documentation, and equipment and simulator designs.

• Experience with simulation technology - generally understood as a device or software that assists with training, such as web-based or computer-based training software or systems.
• Support training required to execute test activities.
• Assist with the delivery of operational and maintenance training.
• Support the development of program specific handbooks and training courses (including computer-based training).
• Assists in training, implementation and execution of policies, practices, and procedures through various venues, working groups, Integrated Process Teams (IPT), independent assessment visits, consultation visits, and tailored instruction.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Training Management or Instruction role
• Ability to Integrate with other organizations/teams
• Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with the customer
