Job Description And Duties

Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through December 2026. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks to fill Permanent/Full Time Analyst II in the Staff Development Unit.

Under general direction of the Supervisor I, Staff Development Unit, the Analyst II plans, organizes, and conducts training programs to meet the training needs of CCHCS staff statewide, and assists in the development of a comprehensive training plan to address the needs based on the goals and objectives of the CCHCS.

This position is located in Labor Relations, Performance Management, and Staff Development. Staff in this program are responsible for promoting harmonious labor relations between CCHCS, its employees, and employee organizations; providing management/supervisors with the tools and resources necessary to carry out the state’s progressive disciplinary process; and delivering effective and innovative training to further employees’ professional growth.
