Job summary

CDM Smith in Phoenix seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for our Federal Government client’s customized construction management system, replacing the legacy platform.

You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, construction staff, leadership, and external contractors, ensuring participants gain the knowledge to use the new system and supporting large-scale organizational change across locations with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required or eligibility to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven facilitation and classroom management capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to varying audience needs.
• Ability to work independently in a geographically dispersed training team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide guidance during training activities.
• Maintain engaging classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in train-the-trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
