Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to support a Federal Government Client’s new construction management system implementation. The role includes delivering instructor-led training both virtually and in person for personnel, project managers, engineers, and external contractors.

The position requires strong facilitation, experience with software training, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations. Travel is 100% to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
