Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training in support of a Federal Government client’s construction management system implementation. You will conduct both virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineering staff, construction personnel, leadership, and external contractors.

This role requires strong classroom facilitation, experience in software and business process training, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 3 years related experience; travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and in-person environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for improving training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
