Job summary

Beyond New Horizons at Arnold Air Force Base, TN seeks a Training Specialist to develop and maintain computer-based and instructor-led training content for the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment mission. The role focuses on building effective materials, coordinating with SMEs, and ensuring training aligns with AEDC standards.

The position requires strong communication and project management, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, modernization, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or other related field
• Five (5) years of experience developing, supporting, or delivering education/training, learning and development, workforce qualification, or similar programs
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements and ability to access secure federal databases
• Must be able to obtain and maintain active security clearance and access AEDC network

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers computer-based training courses and learning content
• Develops and maintains Workforce Qualification, Safety and other training materials in coordination with SMEs and managers
• Ensures training meets AEDC standards and requirements
• Translates technical concepts into accessible curriculum and materials
• Manages multiple projects and coordinates in-person and virtual training sessions with stakeholders
• Maintains Training systems, processes, and auditing for Workforce Qualification data
• Evaluates training software and tools to meet workforce development needs
• Collaborates with instructors, SMEs, managers, and vendors to schedule and deliver training
