Job summary

The Training Supervisor in Golden leads the Community Assistance Division’s training and development program, directing Trainers and supervising Eligibility Specialists through new worker training and post-training support. This role ensures consistent, effective learning and a smooth transition to permanent teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of work-related experience in Eligibility Programs or Human Services.
• Bachelor’s degree required, equivalent combinations acceptable.
• Experience developing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs for adult learners.
• Knowledge of CBMS and public assistance eligibility processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD training and employee development, ensuring consistent, practical learning.
• Provide leadership to Trainers and temporary supervision to Eligibility Specialists during training.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment and coordinate ongoing staff development.
• Deliver training in-person and virtually using effective instructional techniques.
