Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Services Analyst Supervisor to lead training and development efforts for the Department of Human Services. This role supervises staff, coordinates major training programs, and ensures consistent practice across juvenile justice services.

Responsibilities include overseeing the Juvenile Justice Academy, developing curricula, evaluating programs, and supporting policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year as a Human Services Analyst or two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services programs with a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of relevant work.

Responsibilities

• Training Oversight: Manage the BJJS’s Juvenile Justice Academy, Mandatory Annual Training, and other professional development programs.
• Staff Supervision: Assign work, set goals, review performance, and support employee development.
• Curriculum Development: Create, revise, and implement training materials and learning plans.
• Program Evaluation: Assess training programs, instructor performance, and service quality.
• Policy Support: Assist with developing and reviewing policies, procedures, and program initiatives.
• Collaboration Work: Represent the bureau at meetings, provide technical assistance, and support committees as a subject matter expert.
