Job summary

Airgas in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead company-wide training initiatives, partnering with subject matter experts and management to identify needs, build curriculums, and deliver programs both remotely and on-site, while maintaining training records in WorkDay.

The role requires post-secondary education in business management or equivalent, plus 5+ years in training with LMS systems and D365 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with LMS management and training development
• Experience with WorkDay training records and administration
• 5+ years related work experience in training
• 2-4 years creating and delivering training programs
• Knowledge of positioning equipment and welding applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs with management and field staff and develop curricula
• Develop and communicate strategic training plan and quarterly updates
• Design instructional materials and training classes
• Deliver training via webinars, on-site sessions, and online formats
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update programs accordingly
• Coordinate LMS updates and administer sessions in WorkDay
• Travel 4-6 times yearly to provide advanced user training
