Job summary

PLM is seeking a Training and Development Intern to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning experiences for our ESOP-driven team. You will collaborate with HR and managers, assist with content creation, LMS administration, and reporting, and gain hands-on exposure to real business projects across corporate and field teams.

You'll learn modern L&D practices, participate in live workshops, and contribute to onboarding and ongoing learning initiatives that align with PLM's culture

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in HR, OD, business, or communications.
• Interest in training, learning & development, HR, or organizational effectiveness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
• Familiarity with LMS, Canva, video editing tools, or Articulate/SCORM.
• Previous internship or coursework related to HR or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating training materials such as presentations, job aids, videos, and online modules.
• Support instructional design efforts by formatting content and ensuring quality and consistency.
• Help prepare materials for in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Assist with maintaining training content, uploading materials, and tracking completions.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning initiatives as assigned.
• Collaborate with HR and business teams to support learning tied to performance and culture.
