Job summary

Maryland Department of Labor is seeking FAMLI Trainers to develop and deliver comprehensive training across the FAMLI Services teams. The role collaborates with Training and Education Manager and leadership to craft materials, evaluate outcomes, and tailor programs for Customer Care, Claims, and Employer Services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years identifying training gaps, 2+ years in instructional design with tools like Captivate or Storyline, and experience in a contact center environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years identifying training gaps and developing curricula.
• Two+ years applying instructional design with authoring tools.
• Two+ years in a contact center training environment.
• Experience administering a learning management system; Cornerstone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and improve training materials with leadership.
• Coordinate with teams to meet training needs across departments.
• Monitor training effectiveness with QA and management.
• Conduct orientation and refresher programs for staff.
• Schedule and tailor training classes for multiple directorates.
• Evaluate training through surveys and adjust programs as needed.
• Respond to inquiries during high-volume periods when required.
