Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking FAMLI Division Trainers to develop and continually improve training programs for Customer Care, Claims, Benefits, and Employer Services teams. You will collaborate with the Training and Education Manager and leadership to ensure programs meet regulatory and service standards.

The role involves conducting orientations and refresher sessions, coordinating training schedules, and evaluating training effectiveness to support Maryland workers who rely on paid time off for

Qualifications

• Experience identifying training and performance gaps and developing curricula to address organizational needs.
• Two+ years in instructional design using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Storyline, or Articulate 360.
• Two+ years in a contact center environment with knowledge of training needs and operations.
• Experience administering a learning management system, Cornerstone preferred; regulatory training experience also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and continuously improve training materials and programs in collaboration with FAMLI leadership.
• Maintain open communication with FAMLI Services management to meet training needs.
• Monitor and ensure staff are performing according to training standards with QA input.
• Conduct orientation and on-the-job training for new hires and refresher training for seasoned staff.
• Schedule classes for multiple directorates and measure training effectiveness.
