Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an IT&S training operations facilitator to support information systems education across the organization. You will coordinate class schedules, manage the course catalog, triage training requests, and leverage the learning management system.

Summary

Serves as primary operations facilitator for the IT&S training team initiatives. Collaborates with training professionals to develop and support information systems education. Coordinates class and instructor schedules and maintains course catalog. Receives and triages training requests and tickets. Manages administrative needs and leverages the learning management system. Assesses opportunities and implements process improvement and quality control.

Minimum Qualifications

• Formal Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in education, information technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Experience & Training Required: Two (2) years education coordination and/or teaching experience
• Possesses familiarity with healthcare and/or information systems training delivery
• Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: Excellent communications, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems trainers, application analysts, operational end users, and IT&S leaders
• Ability to work within a team environment by accepting and providing honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging fellow team members
• Ability to apply teaching techniques in a classroom and the ability to organize and deliver effective presentations before groups
• Ability to establish harmonious and effective work relationships with operations and information systems colleagues
• Has a basic understanding of electronic medical record systems
• Level of Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
